Ye Story: Long Island during the
Revolutionary War was occupied by
British forces. Cpt. John Calthrop
of his Majesty's Regiment of Foot
and his men occupy the Talmadge
House in Oyster Bay. Calthrop
accuses the lone occupant of the
house, young, widowed Letitia
Talmadge of being an American spy.
Inside the house's barn, she is
executed by hanging.
Letitia's distraught fiancée,
Daniel finds out that her and his
brother, Samuel, are indeed
members of a spy ring, and have
stolen British war plans. Teaming
with Daniel is Rose, a fortune teller
expert at knife-tossing.
As Calthrop and his Redcoats (or
"Lobsterbacks") hunt Daniel down,
they are menaced by the vengeful
and lethal ghosts of Letitia, and
other deceased early Long Islanders
out for blood.
